Job Purpose:

Drive sales and promote CME products in a defined area or channel to achieve individual sales target set for the year and contribute to team targets as well as consequently to annual business unit revenue targets and high customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales : Conduct regular field visits, understand customer’s requirements to establish product need, availability, credit requirement and payment position. Discuss technical specifications in relation to product performance, suitability, and usage/application to key customers preparing and presenting related presentations and demonstrations from time to time to ensure selling product attributes are in line with the principal’s guideline. In addition, negotiate deals and prices within his authority boundaries.
  • Operations : Maintain active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date when required by accurate collection of customer information. Prepare relevant documentation to ensure the deals are closed as per company guidelines and policies. Coordinate with the concerned department member to order the stock in a timely manner.
  • Claims Management: Review warranty claims (within the authority), approve or rejects (claims above the policy limits or outside of the warranty period) to ensure alignment with set warranty policies, processes and al to maximize customer satisfaction. Send consolidated monthly reports to line manager for necessary review.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market intelligence to monitor competitors’ products, pricing and promotional activities versus CME products. Liaise with marketing department to plan and execute all relevant marketing activities approved by the line manager. Additionally, monitor and communicate market activities to the line manager.
  • Customer Relationship & Satisfaction: Ensure customers remain abreast with product, technology changes/modifications, are adequately trained in order to specify products themselves and services by type of use. Build lasting relationships with customers to explore and develop new business opportunities.

Job Specific Information

  • Accounts Manager will be closely working with the line manager handling various defined accounts to sell assigned product category like Power Tools for managing project sales for managing high accounts.

Qualifications, Experience, Competencies Qualification

  • Diploma in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Experience
  • 5 years of minimum experience in sales & account management within automotive/engineering products.
  • Experience in automotive parts sales is preferred.
