Accounts Manager

Role Overview

The Accounts Manager will oversee all financial functions of Atlantic Rent A Car, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost management, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and strategic financial planning. This key leadership position plays a vital role in driving profitability, optimizing financial performance, and supporting the company’s continued growth within the car rental industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls to maintain strong financial governance.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support informed business decision-making.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide management with accurate financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning and growth.
• Analyze business performance and financial data to identify opportunities for efficiency and profitability improvement.
• Support management in fleet expansion, funding strategies, and investment decisions.
• Establish cost control mechanisms and drive financial efficiency initiatives across all departments.
• Oversee fixed asset management, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure planning.
• Evaluate risks and establish preventive measures through effective financial control systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably within the automotive leasing, transportation, or rental industry.
• Strong knowledge of fleet financing, leasing models, and asset-heavy business operations.
• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of UAE accounting, VAT, and compliance frameworks.
