We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of the hotel, ensure compliance, and manage all accounting functions efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the hotel’s full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, profit & loss reports, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts.
- Monitor daily revenue reports, room revenue, F&B revenue, and other departmental income.
- Ensure accurate posting of transactions and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Oversee night audit reports and verify revenue accuracy.
- Manage vendor payments, credit control, and collections.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, statutory filings, and hotel industry accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit processes.
- Monitor cost controls for F&B, stores, purchases, and inventory systems.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring smooth department operations.
- Establish internal financial controls and maintain proper documentation.
- Work closely with General Manager, F&B, Stores, and Operational Heads for financial insights and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 3–7 years of hotel accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel PMS, POS, Tally/ERP, and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
