Accounts Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to support day-to-day finance operations, including customer receipts, supplier invoices, reconciliations, and record keeping. The role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work within defined processes and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record customer receipts and sales transactions
  • Assist with invoicing and follow-up of outstanding customer balances
  • Record supplier invoices and support purchase ledger activities
  • Perform regular reconciliations, including bank and control accounts
  • Support payment processing and cash control activities
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records
  • Respond to internal and external finance-related queries
  • Follow internal policies, controls, and standard operating procedures

Key Performance Expectations

  • Transactions processed accurately and on time
  • Reconciliations completed within agreed timelines
  • No unexplained or aged reconciling items
  • Complete and accurate documentation and filing
  • Adherence to internal controls and procedures

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts or finance role
  • Working knowledge of accounting software Sage Line 50
  • Good Excel and data-handling skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment
  • Exposure to receivables, payables, and reconciliations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
