Accounts Officer

Job Title: Accounts Officer
Location: DHA Phase 2, Islamabad
Timings: 1pm to 10pm ( Monday to Friday)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to support the finance function through accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The role ensures timely processing of financial data and supports management in effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
• Manage invoicing, billing, and related documentation
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Support audit processes and statutory reporting
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA Finalist or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (BBA / B.Com / MBA)
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and invoicing processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
