Accounts officer

yearsJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to assist our Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

The Job location is Port Qasim Karachi. Candidates living in nearby areas will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance Manager in day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
• Participate in regular internal audits to identify potential discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICMA Part qualification) is a plus.
• Minimum 02 years experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
