Accounts Officer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to oversee and strengthen our financial management processes. The ideal candidate will bring 3-4 years of professional experience in the Accounts/Finance field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely reconciliations.
  • Manage internal controls, compliance with taxation laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Support and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
  • Lead process improvements and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Assist management in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certifications like ACCA/CA/ICMA will be a plus).
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience in Accounts/Finance.
  • Strong expertise in accounting principles, taxation, and financial management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Female candidates will be given preference.
