Bio Tech Energy Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Accounts and bring three to four years of relevant professional experience. This role requires a candidate who is not only proficient in accounting principles but also understands the financial dynamics specific to the energy or biotechnology sectors. The Accounts Officer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This includes maintaining the general ledger, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and receipts from clients. The Accounts Officer will oversee the preparation of vouchers and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting software.

A significant aspect of this position involves ensuring strict compliance with tax laws and regulations. The officer will be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of Goods and Services Tax returns, Tax Deducted at Source returns, and other statutory dues. They will coordinate with external auditors during internal and statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process.

The Accounts Officer will also assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. This involves analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies, monitoring cash flow, and preparing bank reconciliation statements. They will work closely with the Finance Manager to develop budgets and forecast future financial needs, ensuring the company operates efficiently and profitably.

Furthermore, the role requires managing the accounts payable and receivable cycles. This includes verifying expense reports, reconciling supplier statements, and following up on outstanding payments. The officer will play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, handling routine banking transactions and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Commerce or a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or Accounts. A minimum of three to four years of hands-on experience in a similar role is mandatory. Practical experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP is required, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Prior experience in the manufacturing, energy, or biotechnology industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
