Accounts Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Officer with strong expertise in reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Bank Reconciliation, Party Ledger Reconciliation, Payroll Reconciliation, and vendor/customer account management. Candidate should also possess basic knowledge of taxation and be proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Bank Reconciliations.
• Reconcile Party Ledgers, Vendor Ledgers, and Customer Accounts.
• Handle Payroll Reconciliation and verify salary-related records.
• Monitor and reconcile receivables and payables balances.
• Pass accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in preparation of monthly closing reports and financial statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial discrepancies and resolutions.
• Support taxation-related tasks including basic awareness of Sales Tax and Withholding Tax.
• Ensure accuracy of data entered into ERP systems.
• Generate financial reports and MIS through ERP and Excel.
• Assist during internal and external audits.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command over reconciliation processes.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Basic knowledge of taxation laws and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP software.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reporting.

Experience Required:

3–5 Years

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, BBA, or relevant field.
