Accounts Payable Clerk

A North County Healthcare company is looking to hire a contract Accounts Payable Clerk for 2-3 months to assist with extra work load. This role is onsite Monday-Friday in Oceanside.

• Hourly pay is $22-25/hr.
  
  
  

Responsibilities :

• Process 200-300 weekly invoices as required per schedule
• Follow all auditing requirements to ensure compliance to purchasing and signature authority policies. Organizes work load to complete assignments timely and keeps Supervisor advised on progress
• Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely basis for vendor discounts
• Performs weekly check run cycles
• Establish validity of PO invoices
• Prepares computer input for non-PO invoices and credit memos
• Knowledge of 1099 requirements
• Knowledge of sales and use tax
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
• Lawson software experience is a plus
• Healthcare experience a plus as well
