A growing, multi-entity organization in King of Prussia, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and modernize the AP function within a shared services environment. Hybrid; four days in office. This role blends strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and controls.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to partner with finance leadership and drive operational excellence across a complex, multi-location business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounts payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve escalations and improve workflows
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (including SOX)
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
• Align AP operations with broader finance and business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA a plus)
• 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, including AP leadership
• 5+ years managing teams in a shared services or multi-entity environment
• Experience in public company environments and SOX compliance
• Strong background in AP automation, ERP systems, and process optimization
• Proven ability to lead change, improve workflows, and drive results
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Additional Details

Compensation: to $110k + bonus

Employment type: Direct hire
