Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Salary: $70,000 - $77,500 per year + incentives

Our client is an established leader in the industrial services sector. We are seeking a proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join their expanding finance team. You will be working on a high-volume project involving the optimization of financial workflows within NetSuite for multiple business entities.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing a high volume of vendor bills and invoices daily.
• Matching purchase orders with incoming invoices and resolving any discrepancies to streamline the procurement cycle.
• Generating financial reports to ensure all accounts are accurately stated and to support business intelligence needs.
• Managing vendor relationships, including the maintenance of W-9s, 1099s, and credit applications.
• Executing payments through various digital platforms and manual processes to ensure company obligations are met promptly.
• Collaborating with the cost accounting and management teams to complete essential month-end closing procedures.

Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has

• Experience navigating NetSuite is essential (experience with Squareworks or Charted is a major plus).
• High level of comfort with modern accounting software and capable to serve as a technical resource for the team.
• A self-starter who thrives in a non-micro-managed environment and can handle a heavy workload.
• While all backgrounds are welcome, experience in trucking, oil and gas, or heavy manufacturing is preferred.
• The ability to maintain a professional demeanor and a positive attitude while navigating challenging vendor or internal inquiries.
