Accounts Payable Specialist

Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Boise Metro Area. This position plays a key role in ensuring vendor invoices are processed accurately and on time while supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Review invoices for proper documentation and approval

• Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts payable transactions

• Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable

• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required

• Experience in construction or manufacturing industry preferred

• Highly desired: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
