Accounts Payable / Accounting Clerk (Full-Time)

The Opportunity

Hearth and Home Distributors of Utah is a local, family-owned industry leader with over 50 years of stability. Since 1973, we have thrived through every construction industry cycle. We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our growing company.

What You’ll Do

• A/P Management: Take ownership of receiving, coding, and posting vendor invoices accurately within our G/L accounts. Ensure all outgoing payments are executed with precision and on schedule.
• AR & Collections: Support accounts receivable efforts with a "pleasantly assertive" and professional approach.
• Collaboration: Partner with vendors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations while adapting as our company expands.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: A background in accounting (3+ years preferred) with a degree or related experience.
• Technical Precision: Proficiency in Excel and 10-key calculators.
• Professional Attributes: A highly organized, detail-oriented mindset and a professional written/verbal presence.
