Job Description

We are seeking a part-time dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and performing all aspects of bookkeeping and client accounting services, ensuring clarity and completeness in financial records, and supporting the diverse accounting needs of our clients. This role has an emphasis on handling paper invoice intake, vendor payment processing and paper check issuance for clients utilizing manual AP workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• We manage and deliver a full spectrum of bookkeeping services to our clients, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll management, and financial reporting. This position focuses extensively on supporting our clients with their paper invoice intake, vendor payment processing and paper check issuance for clients utilizing traditional AP workflows.
• Support our clients 3 days a week. Schedule to be determined in advance, but flexibility is available.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique process and provide tailored accounting solutions.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Work with clients from varied backgrounds such as restaurants, professional services, and nonprofits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing accounts payable.
• Familiarity with accounting software and online financial tools.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with clients.

Compensation

Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience.
