Accounts Receivable Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, chargebacks and account reconciliations. Your expertise in financial software, accounting principles, and customer service will drive efficient revenue cycle management and support our organization’s financial health. Duties

• Prepare and send invoices promptly, maintaining compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) requirements
• Communicate with Factoring company
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of receivables and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Follow up on overdue accounts through professional negotiation and customer service skills, including phone etiquette and effective communication
• Assist with accounts payable processing when necessary, supporting overall corporate accounting functions
• Utilize data entry skills such as 10-key typing to ensure precise record-keeping and transaction processing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts receivable functions within a corporate or public accounting environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation and financial review tasks
• Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively collect overdue payments while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional phone etiquette combined with excellent customer service abilities to address client inquiries professionally

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
