Accounts Supervisor

Role Summary:

The responsibility of this role includes but not limited to supervising tasks pertaining to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and support to associated departments such as Procurement, Facility Management, Leasing, Legal and others on day to day basis. The key function involves end to end preparation of monthly management reports, projections, cash flow, VAT filing, annual budget and timely completion of year end audit and support Financial controller in other ad-hoc tasks under his supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for finalizing management reports such as MIS, Cash flow, AR etc and submission within set deadlines
• Ensure all BS accounts are fully reconciled and are up to date
• In depth review of GL records and BS schedules to ensure accuracy before presenting to Financial Controller
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into cost structures, profitability and operational efficiency
• Responsible for timely preparation and submission of VAT returns to internal Tax department
• Coordination with Leasing team and/or follow ups with customers on overdue debts recovery
• Liaison with legal department as and when required
• POC for external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory audits
• Actively support and monitor GL accountants dedicated for Properties division on day to day tasks
• Identify opportunities to improve process and efficiencies
• Support and work with Financial Controller in preparation of annual budgets and projections
• Support Financial Controller on preparation of ad hoc reports and information requested by the management
• Support Financial Controller in implementing internal controls and process Improvements to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience on a similar position. Experience in Real Estate will be preferred.
• Minimum CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent (Qualified/Partially qualified)
• Good functional knowledge of Accounting softwares (MS Dynamics 365, SAP, Tally, Oracle etc)
• Good knowledge of MS. Excel, Power BI, Power Point and Word etc.
• Practical and good understanding of IFRS, IAS and applicable tax laws (mainly VAT)
• Result oriented and can go extra mile to achieve set objective/KPI’s
