Accounts Supervisor

Acel-LED is an innovative and fast-growing organization specializing in advanced lighting solutions and technology-driven products. With a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and financial integrity, we are expanding our operations in Qatar and seeking a capable Accounts Supervisor to join our finance team in Doha.

Position Overview
The Accounts Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial activities. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can lead a team, streamline processes, and support strategic financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor financial records to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Prepare financial reports and support management with key insights
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring high performance and development
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
