Acquiring Business E-Commerce Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager

Narrative Description:

Responsible for assessing, supporting & following up on the development of acquiring business e-commerce activities. Works to achieve portfolio targets through acquiring new e-commerce clients, identifying specific client needs and cross-selling all appropriate products and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the service and portfolio development via setting effective action plans to achieve portfolio targets, maintain and develop strong relationships with e-commerce clients, allowing for better understanding of their banking needs and enabling the generation of new business from referrals and the achievement of the portfolio targets.

2. Initiate business through regular market calls/visits. Create opportunities for acquiring new e-commerce customers from different potential sources. Prepare a periodic plan for e-commerce acquisition process and handle the overall fulfillment of the process.

3. Cross-sell all types of products e-payment and all appropriate banking products and services suited for the fulfillment of these needs.

4. Responsible for acquiring e-commerce business and achieving the assigned targets.

5. Conduct a visit to the eligible merchants to offer the e-commerce services and packages and submit their request and complete the files by submitting the tickets on the workflow tool and follow up on completing the process till providing the requested services.

6. Reach out to customer leads through constant calls and visits, and wok on developing positive business relationships to create new opportunities through referrals and connections.

7. Ensure that new markets & customers are approached to exploit market opportunities & enhance market share.

8. Manage future and existing assigned products, set objectives and report on performance.

9. Conduct follow up visits to Merchants in co-ordination with network representatives in order to support in providing advice and any required information, as to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction and maximize QNB ALAHLI's profitability.

10. Follow up on any missing requirements, or documents, and handle merchant’s chargebacks, complaints, and attempt to solve it, and work on retaining e-commerce merchants.

11. Ensure the correct functioning and implementation of the Permanent Supervision, Compliance and Money Laundering, Operational Risk, and Workplace Success Guidelines whenever and wherever possible.

12. Ensure the correct adoption of policies and procedures in order to guarantee that the bank business is conducted in compliance with Local Laws, Internal Rules and Regulations, as well as, international standards.


Job Specifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration or Economics.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the acquiring domain with e-commerce background for the Relationship Manager.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in the acquiring domain with e-commerce background for the Senior Relationship Manager.

Skills:

Good sales / commercial skills

Target oriented with good negotiation and selling skills

Very good communication, interpersonal, analytical skills

Multi-task oriented.

Ability to use tact and diplomacy and maintain confidential information

Ability to work under pressure and within a team

Very good computer knowledge

Fluency in Arabic and English written/spoken
