Job description:

Job Title: Admin & Accounts Officer

Company Name: Cardiff Med Institute (A subsidiary of Cardiff Group)

Location: Cardiff Med, Wahdat Road, Lahore

Job Type: Full Time, On-site

Office Timing: 10 am to 7 pm

Working days: From Monday to Saturday

Number of Positions: 01

Salary range: PKR 35,000 – PKR 45,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

Reporting to: CEO

Key Responsibilities

Administration

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement as per company policy.
  • Oversee office maintenance, utilities, and general administrative support.
  • Assist management in drafting letters, agreements, and official correspondences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Accounts

  • Maintain daily financial transactions, vouchers, ledgers, and records in accounting software/manual registers.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, petty cash handling, and expense reports.
  • Assist in payroll preparation, staff reimbursements, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure timely tax deductions (Withholding Tax, Sales Tax) and proper record keeping as per FBR requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks for smooth financial operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounts and administration.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP) is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Pakistan’s taxation system (FBR compliance, Withholding Tax, Sales Tax).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication in English and Urdu.
