Purpose of the Position:

As Manager – Administration & Industrial Relations (IR), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth administrative operations and fostering positive employee relations across the location. You will be responsible for managing employee relations in a unionized environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigated HR and Industrial Relations (IR) complexities with unionized staff, managing employee relations, disciplinary actions and ensuring adherence to legal procedures.

  • Efficiently managed mess operations for management and factory staff; skillfully addressed CBA and non-management staff grievances, maintaining compliance and positive employee relations.

  • Spearheaded government correspondence with EOBI, Social Security, and other agencies, ensuring timely payments, accurate record maintenance, and smooth interactions with regulatory bodies.

  • Oversee all administrative operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management of office and plant facilities.

  • Implement, and monitor HR & IR policies in line with labor laws and company standards.

  • Maintain strong relationships with employees, unions, and external stakeholders to foster a positive work environment.

  • Supervise security, transport, housekeeping, and other support services.

  • Coordinate with all concerned departments to drive employee engagement, performance, and workplace safety initiatives.

  • Prepare reports on IR trends and administrative improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in law, Human Resources, OR Business Administration

  • 8-12 years of experience in administration and industrial relations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and best practices in IR.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations.
