Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience includes system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

ECI has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant in Woods Cross, UT. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly for one of ECI’s largest utility clients, American Transmission Company (ATC). Duties will consist of supporting ATC in their transmission line asset records database population for capital, maintenance, and inspection projects. This is mainly a data entry position where the candidate will update transmission line structure, span, hardware, and trigger data into ATC’s CASCADE database, as well as complete quality checks on the same data. In addition to the population of transmission line assets into the database, the candidate will also be responsible for updating general informational fields for each transmission line such as “Assigned To”, “Date Entered into Cascade”, “Quality Check By”, and “Quality Check Dates” on ATC’s SharePoint site. The candidate will have direct interface with the client and will be required to attend regular meetings (virtually) with them.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma; ability to gather data from multiple sources and organize it into database form; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the client. Training on accessing the data and utilizing data entry software will be provided. Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving may be required. Successful applicant is subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements. Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future.
