Job Summary

An immediate and unique opportunity to join a small nonprofit in its 45th year, serving with a group of volunteer Christian counselors who will appreciate your office management, Google Workspace, website management, social media, QuickBooks and receptionist skills. Reports to the Executive Director and manages all office functions, including financial transactions and official records, visitor reception, contact and donor information, email, mail, telephone and social media communication. 20 hours per week, $15 per hour, no benefits. The work schedule is flexible during office hours, Monday - Thursday, 10 AM - 4 PM. Seeking candidate for long-term employment with no expectation of changes to hours or wages in the near term. General Administration:

  • Provide general office reception
  • Provide and maintain official records
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft apps
  • Prepare electronic newsletters
  • Maintain mail and email addresses
  • Maintain web site, social media accounts
  • Maintain inventory of general office supplies
  • Prepare materials, invitations, and letters for special meetings and events
  • Keep office environment clean and neat
  • Assist Executive Director as needed with calendar of events and Zoom meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director

Finances:

  • Obtain, review, and maintain all necessary financial records
  • Provide financial statements and reports as necessary by Board and Executive Director
  • Prepare all financial reports and applications as needed by staff, local, state and federal authorities
  • Maintain donor information
  • Prepare year end and other reports for Board and ministry as needed
  • Collect and deposit all funds received

Correspondence:

  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Acknowledge donor gifts
  • Mail necessary materials to interested parties

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to file documents systematically.
  • Effective typing skills for data entry and correspondence management.
  • Familiarity with computerized systems and phone systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
