Columbus Property Management, a member of Mission First Housing Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Community Manager within their day-to-day operation of their property.

Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Community Manager and Senior Community Manager with daily tasks including but not limited to answering phones and greeting visitors, ordering office supplies and maintaining supplies in printers and fax machines, and opening mail.
  • Greet residents, input work orders (and track to completion), accept rental payments, provide receipts and provide excellent customer service.
  • Generate purchase requisitions for vendors. Provide vendors with information on CPM requirements (vendor café, insurance, W-9s)
  • Support community management staff as needed including touring units, walking the site, supporting recertification efforts, and special events.
  • Other duties, as required.

Administrative Assistant Skills Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to pay attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills

Administrative Assistant Education and Experience:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year administrative experience including word processing and working with spreadsheets. Tax credit experience a plus.

Essential Functions: Sitting for a minimum of two (2) hours; data entry requiring extensive arm-hand movement. Moving and lifting files up to 20 lbs.
