At Home Access Remodeling, the goal of our accessible remodeling and home modification service in Kansas City, Dallas, TX and Columbia, MO is to create living environments that allow individuals to stay in their home and maintain their independence.

At Home Access Remodeling our team of expert contractors perform large jobs, like complete bathroom remodels, to small jobs, such as installing shower grab bars.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! This energetic role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. Duties

  • Operate multi-line phone systems, handle incoming calls with courteous phone etiquette, and provide prompt assistance to callers
  • Perform data entry, maintain accurate filing systems, and organize documents to ensure easy retrieval
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools for document creation, editing, and collaboration
  • Support management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinating meetings
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to track expenses and invoices
  • Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining positive relationships

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a cooperate setting with strong clerical skills and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic computer literacy
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or personal assistant is preferred; familiarity with medical or dental receptionist duties is advantageous
  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documents
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and efficiency

Pay: $23.12 - $27.84 per hour
