Babcock Ranch, America’s first solar powered town is hiring! We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the VP of Economic & Business Development.

Help Build the "Hometown of Tomorrow" We are looking for a high-performing professional to be the right hand to our VP of Economic & Business Development. This isn’t just a "desk job"—it’s a front-row seat to the growth of America’s first solar-powered town. You’re a key player in business announcements and community initiatives that shape how people live and work. One day you’re processing complex travel for a national trade show; the next, you’re capturing content for a major site tour or coordinating with the Chamber.

Your Power Skills:

  • We are looking for a modern administrative partner who balances classic professionalism with cutting-edge efficiency.
  • You’re ahead of the curve, using ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot to draft communications, summarize meetings, and boost productivity.
  • You can jump into Canva to polish a presentation or PowerPoint to build a high-stakes deck for the VP.
  • Manage complex scheduling and high-level travel logistics (air, ground, and hotel) with precision.
  • From quarterly budget meetings to vendor contracts and expense reports, you’ll keep the "business" side of development running smoothly.
  • Support major partner events, trade shows, and board meetings—handling everything from registration to presentation materials.
  • You are an Excel wizard (for budgets and project tracking) and a LinkedIn pro (for networking and social media gathering).
  • You possess top-tier professional writing skills and the ability to coordinate with high-level stakeholders, partners, and consultants.
  • You spot a scheduling conflict or a budget error from a mile away.
  • You don’t just book a meeting; you prepare the agenda and the materials before anyone asks.
  • Professional & Polished: You’re comfortable interacting with executives and external partners.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma (required).
  • 3-5 Yrs. proven experience in high-level administrative support.
  • A proactive, "figure-it-out" attitude with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage "complex" logistics.
  • Regular, in-person attendance at our office.
