Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for families, providing a professional and welcoming presence.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet and assist families who call, email, or visit the funeral home.

· Answer phones and address inquiries with empathy and professionalism.

· Manage clerical and accounts receivable tasks, including processing billing and maintaining records.

· Assist the Funeral Director with preparing necessary documents.

· Perform various administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Skills & Experience

· Customer Service: At least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a sensitive or professional environment.

· Administrative Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role.

· Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

· Phone Etiquette: Professional and respectful phone manners.

· Professionalism: Must maintain a professional and respectful demeanor and appearance at all times.

Additional Details

· Job Type: Full-time

· Schedule: 8-hour shifts

· Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

· Work Location: In person
