Responsibilities:
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports and statements as needed
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist in payroll processing and employee time tracking
- Provide general administrative support to the bookkeeping team
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Strong office skills, including filing, organizing, and managing paperwork
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Familiarity with dental or medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
