Administrative Assistant (HR Experience)

San Benito Health Foundation is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with Human Resources experience to support daily administrative and HR operations within our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-service oriented, and committed to supporting a mission-driven organization that serves the medically underserved communities of San Benito County.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to leadership and department staff
  • Assist with Human Resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
  • Maintain confidential employee records and files
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, trainings, and employee communications
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other office documents
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with payroll and timekeeping processes as needed
  • Maintain office supplies and support daily office operations
  • Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience required
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Healthcare or nonprofit experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
  • Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
