Administrative Claims Specialist, Operations

The Administrative Claims Specialist is part of a team that provides operational and administrative support to Claims Representatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Quality Assurance on daily automated processes and either resolve issues independently or escalate them to the appropriate teams.
  • Enter payment and claim information accurately into the Claims System.
  • Communicate with adverse insurance carriers to obtain pertinent information or report claims.
  • Manage the Repair Shop Portal and address inquiries or concerns from repair shops.
  • Create and manage rental reservations between rental vendors and customers.
  • Assist User Acceptance Testers by creating test claim data in test applications.
  • Work within a team environment to support all team members.
  • Multitask and prioritize assignments based on overall level of importance.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers through verbal and written communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
  • Basic personal computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

SALARY RANGE

The pay range for this position is $42,000 to $55,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
