Administrative Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team! This vital role ensures the smooth operation of daily office functions, providing exceptional support to providers and patients. To work in the Hospitalist department, the ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a passion for creating efficient workflows. As an energetic team player, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks that keep our office running seamlessly, fostering a positive environment for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette
  • Help manage provider schedules in AMiON
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, including data entry and document completion
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings using tools like Microsoft Office
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone or email and supporting patient needs
  • Assist with office management tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and overseeing general administrative procedures

Skills

  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Previous office experience or clerical experience demonstrating familiarity with administrative duties
  • Knowledge of office management practices, including filing, data entry, and calendar management
  • Exceptional phone etiquette skills combined with professional customer support capabilities
  • Attention to detail in proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
