Justice Bridge Capital is a litigation funding firm based in Boca Raton, FL. We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has completed a degree in Criminal Justice or a related field and has experience in legal services.

Position Summary

You will play a vital role in our firm by ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process for new clients. You will handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and provide administrative support to our legal team. The right candidate will have:

Responsibilities

- Answering incoming calls from potential clients to gather case information.

- Coordinating transportation arrangements for new clients to and from our office.

- Scheduling appointments for both potential and existing clients.

- Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for new clients during intake.

- Maintaining keen attention to detail and organization to enhance client onboarding efficiency.

- Collaborating closely with our attorneys to ensure a smooth intake process.

- Performing clerical tasks, including translation, primary research, follow-up for outstanding items, and drafting emails to the appropriate team.

- Conducting thorough legal research.

- Managing multiple tasks efficiently using project management skills.

Qualifications

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Attention to accuracy and detail.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

- Experience in a legal or administrative setting is required.

Benefits and Compensation

Justice Bridge Capital offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This is a full-time, on-site position in Boca Raton, FL. The hourly pay rate starts at $22 and is eligible for overtime.
