Position: Trucking Administrative Maintenance Clerk.

Location: Compton, CA (On-Site).

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Clerk is responsible for keeping all equipment records up to date and filed accordingly and timely. This position will also work closely with the Accounting Department to ensure all vendors are paid according to our contractual agreed terms. There will be a lot of data entry and validation of data in this position as well as assist the department with other duties as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Update data daily on TMT/TMW and Maintenance Google drive among other platforms (Orbcomm, Keep Trucking, Trucrs, etc.).
  • Enter mileage every Monday for entire fleet, as necessary. (Very important for CA State reporting and PMs).
  • Pulling reports from TMT and TMW will be a daily task.
  • Reports needed but not limited to PM Reports, Equipment report by contract/shop, equipment down report.
  • Weekly GPS reporting/validating (Orbcomm, Keep Trucking).
  • Assign fuel cards (US Gain, EFS, SC Fuels, ANG, etc.).
  • Update fuel vendor card list (Maintenance Drive).
  • Unassign/deactivate fuel cards US Gain, EFS, SC Fuels, ANG, etc.).
  • Fuel card validation monthly (US Gain, EFS, SC Fuels, ANG, etc.).
  • Enroll trucks as requested to Oregon fuel tax website.
  • Un-enroll trucks to Oregon fuel tax website as requested.
  • Validate Oregon miles and file monthly Oregon tax.
  • File inspections and repair orders will be a daily task.
  • File all truck related documentation (Titles, Registration, Insurance, etc.) will be a daily task.
  • Scan invoices to synergize.
  • Create a unit profile for ALL units.
  • Scan inspections to unit profiles (90 Day Inspections and Annual Inspections).
  • Repair estimates.
  • Recruiting new repair vendors.
  • Processing invoices for payment (Orbcomm, Fast Track, PrePass, Registrations, etc.).
  • Respond to maintenance Email daily.
  • Special Project reports for (Stakeholders/VP of operations/CFO, etc.).
  • Schedule mechanic repairs/inspections and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient problem solver, independent and adaptive to a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to use computer and software applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).
  • Strong teamwork approach and engagement.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to listen and speak professionally.
  • Possess customer service-related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related administrative work experience required.

Pay:
  • The pay is based on experience, $20.00-$24.00 and is going to be discussed during an in-person interview.
