Egybell is hiring an Administration and Media Officer for a PR agency located in Down town.


Position Profile


The Admin and Media Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day- agency operations that includes; handling accounts payable, payroll, grant report entry, managing the organization's HR, and helping in creating organizational and program budgets with the supervision of the Managing Director.


Responsibilities:


Administration Activities:

• Core person for managing office operations and standard of performance.

• Handle accounting records and manage monthly requirements with external auditing office.

• Update and maintain corporate database

• Assist MD in daily activities and projects

• Deal with third parties that includes; suppliers, production and designer…etc

• Assist other departments in some operational / co-ordination activities as needed.


Media Activities:

• Monitor with media team different media outlets (newspapers, on lines and magazines) for coverage of client news and competitor development

• Send daily clippings to clients and follow up on press

• Manage media monitoring reports/sheets

• Update and maintain media sheets and rates (newspapers, magazines, online and TV)

• Distribute and monitor press releases to the media

• Sending out communication for coverage

• Assist in media database for online, printed and magazines

• Handle monthly media and project reports

• Coordination with PR executives

• Prepare monthly project reports


Web/Social Media:

• Post content on our corporate website and social media planning

• Coordinate with the team on specific tasks within PR assignments

• Manage workflow within media operations as needed.


Qualifications and requirements:


  • • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or English
  • 4+ years’ experience in the same position is a must .
  • Experience and a strong PR and media background are a must

Professional work experience is a mus t.

• Fluent in English is a must

• Translation E/A when required

• Proven communication and media skills

• Willing to learn and an effective team player.

• Can anticipate problems

• Complete challenging projects and capable of meeting deadlines

• Strong commitment and dedication to the agency's success as well as personal career

• Positive attitude, thorough and solutions-oriented, hard-worker and committed.

• Attention to detail and quality

• Presentable, active, and willing to learn.

• Adobe and Photoshop skills

• Develop Microsoft Suite, Internet, and Computer skills.

• Solve problems and take the lead in managing the office work

• Understanding of media and how to exploit media, regional, TV and radio (plus) Team Participation

• Actively participate in agency development processes

• Balance workload between office management and media to ensure that all work is accurate and completed within established deadlines

• Continually communicate with media and account executives, and third-party suppliers.

• Continually add feedback to the performance review of the work process as needed

• Talk intelligently about agency at internal and external meetings and industry functions

• Attend agency staff meetings and company events
