About the Role
The Admissions Consultant position is a mid-level, hybrid role responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process for an educational institution in the UAE. This role focuses on providing expert advice on application procedures, admission requirements, and available academic programs, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for applicants from diverse backgrounds. The Admissions Consultant plays a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s student body by delivering accurate information, personalized guidance, and fostering positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
Key Responsibilities

Advise prospective students and their families on the full spectrum of application processes, admission criteria, and program offerings, ensuring clarity and transparency at every stage.

Conduct one-on-one consultations (in-person and virtual) to assess applicant interests, academic backgrounds, and career goals, providing tailored recommendations for suitable programs.

Guide applicants through the preparation and submission of required documentation, including transcripts, standardized test scores, personal statements, and letters of recommendation.

Organize and participate in information sessions, open houses, school visits, and recruitment fairs to promote the institution’s programs and values.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE educational regulations, visa requirements, and institutional policies to provide accurate and compliant guidance.

Collaborate with academic departments, student services, and international offices to ensure a coordinated and holistic admissions experience.

Track and manage applicant progress using CRM systems, ensuring timely follow-up, data accuracy, and confidentiality of applicant information.

Analyze admissions trends and applicant feedback to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic enrollment initiatives.

Support the development of admissions materials, presentations, and digital content to enhance outreach and engagement efforts.

Provide ongoing support to admitted students during the transition to enrollment, including orientation and pre-arrival guidance.
Required Experience & Skills

Demonstrated experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or educational advising, preferably within higher education or international education sectors.

In-depth understanding of the UAE educational landscape, including local and international curricula, university admission standards, and student visa processes.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple applicants and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using CRM platforms, admissions management systems, and digital communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, email marketing platforms).

Analytical skills to interpret admissions data, identify trends, and recommend process enhancements.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical standards in handling sensitive applicant information.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in the UAE is highly advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Additional certifications in student advising, career counseling, or admissions management are considered an asset.

Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in admissions, student services, or educational consulting.
