Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented After-Hours Customer Service Representative to support our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in transportation or logistics and will play a key role in coordinating communication between drivers, shippers, customers, and management teams during evening and weekend hours.Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours communication between drivers, shippers, and customers.
- Monitor active shipments and provide timely updates on driver ETAs, delays, and delivery progress.
- Work closely with internal dispatch, planning, and management teams to ensure accurate information flow and effective decision-making.
- Guide drivers on appointment schedules, routing, and pickup/delivery requirements.
- Escalate issues promptly to management when operational decisions are needed after regular business hours.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all communication and updates within the company’s systems.
- Deliver a high level of customer service through proactive problem-solving and clear, professional communication.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation operations preferred.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment under pressure.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
- Must be reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently during after-hours shifts.

Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Off Wednesday & Thursday
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
