Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Aftermarket Spare Parts Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical product knowledge with strategic account management to drive revenue and maximize customer satisfaction within our inter-company channel. This role is a critical link between our customer and our internal operations, ensuring seamless execution from sales strategy to order fulfillment.


Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Strategic sales and account growth:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed ambitious revenue and growth targets for the assigned channel.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary technical and commercial point of contact.
  • Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) data to analyze sales pipelines, forecast demand, and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement pricing strategies in line with the Line of Business (LOB) Annual Operating Plan (AOP), accounting for factory costs (MLP/Ex-Works), shipping, and customs duties.
  • Operational collaboration:
  • Collaborate with inter-company account operations to align sales forecasts with stock planning and inventory management, ensuring optimal product availability.
  • Provide essential consultative support to the service sales team regarding pricing, discounts, key selling points, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Technical expertise and customer support:
  • Provide technical support and product expertise, assisting customers in troubleshooting issues and recommending optimal spare parts, upgrades, or service solutions.
  • Analyze lost sales opportunities to identify root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence, driving continuous improvement.
  • Market and customer analysis:
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and identify new product opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement:
  • Identify and implement solutions to increase sales efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline internal processes.


Qualifications: What you'll bring

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong emphasis on aftermarket parts sales.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to understand and articulate complex product details.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the specific industry (e.g., HVAC, automotive, industrial machinery, etc..).
  • Experience in inter-company accounts operations or supply chain management.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts.
