AI Augmented Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI-Augmented Developer who leverages AI tools and models to acceleratesoftware development productivity, quality, and speed. The role combines strong traditional software engineering skills with the ability to design, develop, and optimize applications using AI-assisted workflows, including code generation, intelligent automation, and AI-driven decision support.

This role is for developers who use AI as a force multiplier in building scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks and AI tools. Implement AI-driven features such as Intelligent search, Natural language interfaces,Workflow automation and Decision support systems Build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines integrated with AI-assisted components. Design prompting strategies for reliable and repeatable AI-assisted outputs. Integrate LLMs and AI services via APIs Validate, test, and secure AI-generated code before production use. Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver business value. Participate in system architecture discussions, especially around AI-enabled components Mentor team members on AI-assisted development best practices.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with backend frameworks and REST/GraphQL APIs. Solid understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle and NoSQL. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Understanding of secure coding and performance optimization. Hands-on experience using AI developer tools for coding, debugging, and documentationlike GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude. Understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations. Experience writing and refining effective prompts. Ability to review, validate, and harden AI-generated code. Experience integrating LLM APIs into applications. Knowledge of vector databases and embedding like FAISS and pgvector. Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns. Experience with automation, bots, or workflow engines.
