Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mid-Level AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, and custom API integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building intelligent automation systems using LLM models, REST APIs, WebSockets, and Webhooks to enhance process efficiency and data flow across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, and other low/no-code platforms.
- Integrate and manage REST APIs between internal and third-party applications.
- Implement AI-powered automation using LLMs (ChatGPT/OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for content generation, chatbot development, and decision-making systems.
- Utilize WebSockets and Webhooks for real-time data synchronization and event-driven processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation workflows, integrations, and systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize automation performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, and product) to identify automation opportunities and improve workflows.
- Ensure automation reliability, security, and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in automation development or integration engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with n8n and Make.com (Integromat).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods.
- Experience with LLM-based automation (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, or custom GPT integrations).
- Knowledge of WebSockets, Webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for writing custom functions within automation workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple automation projects with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating with tools like Slack, Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, or CRMs.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI agent workflow design.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
