About this opportunity:

We are looking for a highly adaptable and innovative AI Data Scientist to join the Americas AI Acceleration Hub within Ericsson’s Strategic Projects and Transformation Unit. This role balances technical mastery with a forward-deployed engineering emphasis, giving you hands-on exposure to real-world implementations while driving practical use-case development of generative AI solutions. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying gaps in AI capabilities, leveraging global IT solutions, and crafting operational models that enhance network efficiency and enable impactful AI solutions.

What you'll do:

• Empower Teams: Partner with line organizations to understand their needs and deliver practical AI solutions that drive impact and streamline execution. Make cutting-edge AI accessible and valuable for diverse teams.
• Leverage Global Expertise: Collaborate with global teams to adapt proven AI strategies, tools, and resources to local challenges, maximizing value and scalability.
• Create Scalable AI Solutions: Support the design and deployment of generative AI (GenAI) models, helping teams experiment, operationalize, and implement solutions that solve real-world problems.
• Drive Adoption: Simplify complex GenAI technologies into actionable prototypes and success stories that inspire innovation.
• Collaborate and Improve: Work across technical and business teams to refine AI solutions and elevate workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement.

• Experience and Curiosity: 3+ years in data science, programming, or tech-focused roles with a passion for learning and shaping real-world AI experiences.
• Education or Equivalent Skills: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• A Growth Mindset: Open to exploring new ideas, solving challenges, and turning concepts into working solutions.
• Technical Foundation: Familiarity with tools like Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). A willingness to dive deeper is key.
• Collaboration Skills: A knack for working across diverse teams and transforming ideas into scalable, inclusive solutions.
