Job Summary
The AI Partnership Lead - Business Relationship Manager (BRM) supports alignment between AI capabilities and business value, with primary focus on Legal and Financial functions. The position translates AI concepts into business-relevant insights, assists in developing business case inputs, and supports stakeholder relationships within assigned functions. This role contributes to communication materials and supports stakeholder messaging while maintaining practical focus on regulatory compliance, financial impact, and risk management. The role provides team-level and manager-level support with collaborative support for leadership priorities.
This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ location.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Partnership & Advisory
- Support AI initiatives for Legal and Finance business units under guidance], understanding their challenges and identifying AI solution opportunities.
- Translate AI capabilities into basic business use cases and benefits tailored to legal compliance, contract management, financial forecasting, and operational efficiency needs.
- Build working relationships with stakeholders at the team and manager level
- Coordinate with AI and business teams to support alignment on project needs
- Demand Management & Business Case Development
- Support intake and documentation of AI requests from Legal and Finance and help organize business needs into structured requirements
- Assist in preparing business case inputs including basic financial, operational, and compliance considerations
- Support Finance in gathering data for budget and cost analysis related to AI initiatives
- Provide input into prioritization discussions based on defined criteria and leadership direction
- Solution Design & Requirements
- Gather and document business requirements with guidance from senior team members
- Support solution design discussions by documenting requirements, constraints, and business considerations
- Escalate legal and compliance considerations to appropriate stakeholders and follow established guidance
- Collaborate with AI technical teams to support evaluation of solution options
- Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Assist with financial tracking activities for AI initiatives and follow established budget and invoicing processes
- Monitor project data and escalate notable trends or issues to leadership
- Support compliance activities and follow established SOX, data governance, and regulatory processes
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation related to AI implementations
- Communication & Thought Leadership
- Prepare materials and contribute to presentations for leadership on AI initiatives
- Support creation of reports and dashboards on AI initiative performance
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing activities and support external materials as needed
- Develop basic communication materials that explain AI concepts to stakeholders
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or related roles
- Basic understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and business case concepts
- Awareness of legal and regulatory considerations in technology implementations
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting communication between technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or emerging technology initiatives
- Knowledge of legal compliance requirements (data privacy, contract management, regulatory frameworks)
- Familiarity with financial systems, procurement processes, and SOX compliance controls
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Background in both finance and technology domains
- LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills to work with global teams and stakeholders
- Ability to write clear business documentation and requirements
- Effective presentation skills for team and manager-level audiences
- REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to analyze business problems with guidance and consider key stakeholder needs
- Use sound judgment to identify and escalate key risks and opportunities
- Apply established guidance when balancing innovation, compliance, and risk considerations
- Support alignment of AI initiatives with defined business objectives
Travel Requirements:
15 – 25% Domestic and International travel required
