IT Technical Support Engineer – AIDC & POS Hardware
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and technical support requests via site visits, phone, and email, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to:
- Barcode Printers (Zebra, Honeywell, etc.)
- Barcode Scanners (Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic)
- ID Card Printers (Zebra, HID)
- Handheld Mobile Terminals (Zebra, Datalogic)
- POS Machines , POS Printers and POS Peripherals (Posiflex,Epson and other brands)
- Provide effective solutions to resolve technical issues and minimize downtime.
- Conduct installation, configuration, and end-user training for barcode printers, scanners, handheld terminals, POS systems, peripherals, and associated software.
- Support customers in adopting enterprise mobility and digital transformation solutions, including Auto-ID, RFID, PDT, and IoT technologies.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, networking, and Android platforms.
- Working knowledge of Android and Windows-based kiosks.
- Familiarity with enterprise mobility solutions and digital transformation tools.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT and AIDC technical support.
- Valid UAE driving license with own car (mandatory).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
