Duties

• Greet guests warmly and efficiently, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a seamless dining flow
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures while maintaining proper sanitation standards
• Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and uphold food safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience, particularly in high-volume food service environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and night shifts
