Hiring for a leading Freight Forwarding Company:

Job Title: Air Freight Sales Manager

Job Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop New Business:

- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target industries.

- Research and understand the needs and requirements of potential clients.

- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals.

2. Build and Maintain Client Relationships:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.

- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and business reviews.

- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up support to maintain client satisfaction.

3. Sales Planning and Strategy:

- Create and implement sales plans to achieve individual and team sales targets.

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential business opportunities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional materials.

4. Prepare Proposals and Negotiate Contracts:

- Prepare competitive quotes and proposals tailored to client needs.

- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure profitable contracts.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

5. Collaboration and Coordination:

- Work closely with the operations, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments.

- Communicate client requirements and expectations clearly to internal teams.

- Coordinate with international partners and agents to ensure smooth delivery and customs clearance processes.

6. Maintain Sales Records and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts in CRM software.

- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.

- Monitor competitors' activities and market trends to stay ahead in the industry.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.

- Strong understanding of freight forwarding services.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Total: 7 years (Preferred)
  • Air Freight Sales: 5 years (Preferred)

Location:

  • Mumbai, Maharashtra (Preferred)
