Airfield Lighting Technician (Hight Voltage Electrician)

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the related field.
• The Airfield Lighting Electrician/Technician will perform installing, testing, repairing, and maintenance of high voltage electric power-controlling equipment and/or distribution lines.
• Work requires knowledge of electrical principles, procedures, materials, and safety standards governing electrical systems above 600 volts.
• Work requires general mechanical skills and knowledge, and in some cases, may require knowledge of electronic principles as they pertain to airfield electronic control circuitry. Incumbent is responsible for: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards.
