Job Description
- Carry out a wide range of masonry activities such as block laying, plastering, tiling, concreting, and finishing as part of construction or maintenance operations.
- Perform repair and restoration of walls, floors, partitions, and other structures made from block, brick, stone, or concrete.
- Execute tile installation, grouting, patch plastering, skimming, and floor leveling works as required.
- Assist with minor concrete works including mixing, pouring, compacting, and surface finishing.
- Construct and repair civil elements such as boundary walls, manholes, kerbstones, and other related structures.
- Ensure correct alignment, leveling, and smooth finishing of all masonry work.
- Read and follow drawings, measurements, sketches, and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in proper condition and ensure efficient use.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Coordinate and work alongside other technicians and teams to complete maintenance or project tasks effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in masonry, plastering, tiling, and concrete works (construction or maintenance background).
- Strong understanding of materials, tools, and standard techniques used in masonry activities.
- Ability to read basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Skilled in block work, plaster application, tile fixing, concrete patching, and general civil repairs.
- Physically fit, hardworking, and able to work in various site conditions.
- Good teamwork, coordination, and communication abilities.
- GCC experience is an added advantage.
