About GMG

• Execute the end-to-end allocation process for the Sports Common division.

• Analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and planned distribution to optimize product availability.

• Monitor stock across all stores to ensure alignment with sales targets, store capacities, and seasonal demand.

• Generate regular reports to track allocation performance and guide future decision-making.

• Support timely replenishment of high-performing stores and execute redistribution strategies for underperforming stock.

• Ensure compliance with GMG’s allocation guidelines and implement process improvements where needed.

• Collaborate with Logistics to resolve supply chain issues affecting product flow.

• Assist in evaluating promotions and markdown strategies to improve stock turnover and profitability.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Solid understanding of retail inventory planning and product flow.

• Ability to make data-backed recommendations that support business goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Degree in Merchandising preferred; Postgraduate degree is a plus).

• 2 years of experience in merchandising or allocation.

• 1 year of experience in sports retail (preferred).

• Knowledge of inventory planning and stock management.
