Aluminum Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an Aluminum Engineer for Erection and Production oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of architectural aluminum and facade systems. This role bridges the gap between the manufacturing facility and the construction site, ensuring structural integrity, timely production, and precise on-site installation.

Production & Factory Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Plan, monitor, and optimize fabrication processes on the shop floor to improve efficiency, increase output, and reduce material waste.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct raw material inspections and regular checks on aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, and finishes before they leave the factory.
• Resource Management: Supervise factory workers, welders, and fabricators, ensuring they follow technical drawings, shop drawings, and health and safety (HSE) standards.
• Scheduling: Prepare production schedules and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to align with project deadlines
• Erection & Site Responsibilities
• Installation Oversight: Manage the physical assembly and installation (erection) of aluminum structures and facades on-site.
• Site Coordination: Work alongside project managers, architects, and main contractors to track timelines and address technical/site-specific snags.
• Safety Management: Enforce strict HSE requirements, monitor lifting operations, scaffolding, and ensure proper handling/storage of aluminum materials on site.
• Compliance & Approvals: Prepare inspection checklists and coordinate with local municipality inspectors and consultants to clear completed erection stages.
• Experience: Candidate should have experience of at least 3-6 years in Aluminum Field ( UAE).
