Steel Structural Engineer

Salary Range: AED 5,000 – 8,000 per month (based on experience)
Experience Required: 4–8 years (UAE / GCC experience preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Steel Structural Engineer with solid experience in design, detailing, fabrication, and site supervision of steel structures, particularly tents, tensile shade structures, aluminium works, and civil projects. The candidate must be technically sound and capable of coordinating with design, fabrication, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs, calculations, and drawings
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers
• Prepare and review shop drawings and fabrication drawings
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, BOQs, and site conditions
• Provide technical support to fabrication and site execution teams
• Review material submissions and method statements
• Perform load calculations, wind analysis, and stability checks
• Verify materials, welding, and connection detailing
• Attend client/consultant meetings and manage approvals
• Supervise site erection works and ensure structural safety
• Support cost estimation and value engineering

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
• 4–8 years of experience in steel structure design and execution
• UAE / GCC experience preferred
• Valid UAE Driving License (preferred)
• Degree must be MOFA-attested

Technical Knowledge

• Steel structure design and detailing
• Fabrication and erection methodologies
• BOQs, material specifications, and shop drawings
• Wind load and structural stability analysis
• Familiarity with AISC, BS, Eurocodes, and UAE standards
