Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Assistant Manager – Field Instrumentation to lead and manage field activities related to instrumentation systems in industrial automation and electrical contracting projects. The role requires strong hands-on experience in installation, calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field instruments, along with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of field instrumentation systems across industrial and process plants
- Manage site activities related to instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level measurement devices
- Ensure proper calibration, loop checking, and functional testing of instruments and control systems
- Coordinate with engineering, electrical, and automation teams for integrated project execution
- Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Lead field teams, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
- Identify and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and project requirements
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting
- Assist in preparation of technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors for site-related activities
- Participate in FAT/SAT and ensure smooth handover of systems to clients
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in field instrumentation within automation, process, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of field instruments (transmitters, control valves, analyzers, sensors, etc.)
- Experience with PLC/SCADA/DCS systems and integration with field devices
- Hands-on experience in calibration tools and testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and datasheets
- Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, Modbus, Profibus)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent team management and coordination abilities

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
